Cookies Country Chicken Branding
Brian Chandler, known as “Cookie” aboard the Navy vessel he was as a wage mariner on, learned the art of frying chicken down in Louisiana while on tour.
On the ship, every Sunday was fried chicken. After cooking fried chicken for 80 crewmen every Sunday for some five years, Chandler decided to fulfill a dream
of opening his own restaurant. After several pop ups and a food truck, Cookies established a brick and mortar location in Ballard and has expanded to a second location in Pioneer Square.
Inspired by his rural roots and time in the navy, Cookie’s branding pulls from old country-time aesthetics woven together with nautical elements.
